MPA prioritizes the health and safety of our students, faculty and staff. Anyone feeling unwell is asked to please stay home.

Attending Classes & Workshops


Most of our instruction takes place in the DuVal Studio at our McLean Community Center Location. Some instruction, including all MPA Clay ceramics programming, takes place in the Natasha & Mai Iskander Studio at the MPA Berlage Arts and Education Center

Registration Policy


All MPA class registrations will be done online through MPA’s website. For any questions, please contact Briana Clorey at bclorey@mpaart.org.


MPA offers special rates for McLean Community Center district residents. Find out if you’re a district resident HERE.


MPA also offers a 10% discount for seniors 65+.

Cancellation Policy


We encourage participants to sign up as early as possible! MPA will cancel a class if does not have sufficient enrollment (4-5 participants) no later than one week before the start of the camp.

Inclement Weather Policy


MPA at the McLean Community Center follows the McLean Community Center’s inclement weather policy and closes if the McLean Community Center is closed. Weather-related updates for the MPA Berlage Arts & Education Center will be posted on our website and social media.

When does MPA issue a refund for a class or camp?


MPA issues refunds when MPA cancels a class or activity. MPA also issues refunds when it changes a class or an activity and the change makes it impossible for the participant to continue with the class. Please note, MPA cancels a class one week prior to the start date if the class does not meet minimum enrolment.

Summer Camp Policies & Procedures

Required Forms

Please fill out the Summer Camp Participant Form and submit to Briana Clorey at bclorey@mpaart.org BEFORE the first day of camp.

We ask that campers and guardians follow these guidelines to participate in MPA camps.


  1. Please ensure you have completed and submitted the mandatory Summer Camp Participation From before the first day of camp.
  2. We ask that parents monitor their child’s health each morning and keep campers at home if they are feeling unwell.


Camp Drop-off & Pick-up


Parents and/or Guardians will be responsible for bringing their students to their respective camp areas for check in, and check out. The parent/guardian must sign their child in, and out.

Cancellation Policy


We encourage campers to sign up as early as possible! MPA will cancel a camp if it does not have sufficient enrollment (4-5 campers) 1-2 weeks before the start of the camp.




Late Pick Up Policy


MPA will charge a late pick up fee for any camper remaining 15 minutes after camp has ended. The late fee is $20 (cash only) per 15 minutes beyond the 15 minute grace period. Late fees must be paid before a camper can participate in the next camp session.

MPA Refund Policy


  • For summer camps, patrons who wish to withdraw or cancel their registration before Friday, April 3, 2025, will be entitled to a full refund.
  • For requests received after Friday, April 3, 2025, but MORE THAN 21 days ahead of the camp start date, patrons will receive a full refund with a modest 20% administrative fee.
  • Should patrons cancel a camp registration FEWER THAN 21 days ahead of the camp start date, a refund will be granted if the vacated spot is filled. In such a case, the patron will then receive a full refund, net of the 20% administrative fee.

Prorating camps: Prorated camp requests must be made in writing to info@mpaart.org. MPA and McLean Community Center will determine on an individual basis if prorating the camp is appropriate.
