MPA Refund Policy

MPA class, workshop and summer camp refund policy is in line with the policies of the McLean Community Center.



MPA issues refunds when MPA cancels a class or activity. MPA also issues refunds when it changes a class or an activity and the change makes it impossible for the participant to continue with the class. Please note, MPA cancels a class one week prior to the start date if the class does not meet minimum enrolment.


Once a class is in session, refunds may be granted only for medical reasons or for extenuating circumstances as determined by MPA.


Patrons who submit refund requests 14 days or more before the start date of a class or activity, will be granted a full refund, minus a $25 processing fee. Refunds requested less than 14 days before the start date of the class or activity will not be granted; the amount paid for the class can instead be credited to that individual’s account and can be applied to another art class.


Prorating camps: Prorated camp requests must be made in writing to bclorey@mpaart.org. MPA will determine on an individual basis if prorating the camp is appropriate.


MPA Classes

We kindly request all withdrawal, refund, and cancellation requests to be submitted in writing to info@mpaart.org. Patrons who submit refund requests 14 days or more before the commencement of a class or activity will receive a refund, with a minor deduction of a 10% administrative fee. Unfortunately, refunds will not be granted for requests submitted 13 days or less before the start date of a class or activity.

MPA Summer Camps

  • For summer camps, patrons who wish to withdraw or cancel their registration before Friday, April 3, 2026, will be entitled to a full refund.
  • For requests received after Friday, April 3, 2026, but MORE THAN 21 days ahead of the camp start date, patrons will receive a full refund with a modest 20% administrative fee.
  • Should patrons cancel a camp registration FEWER THAN 21 days ahead of the camp start date, a refund will be granted if the vacated spot is filled. In such a case, the patron will then receive a full refund, net of the 20% administrative fee.
