A Ceramics Community Within a Larger Arts Center
MPA Clay, the new ceramics program of McLean Project for the Arts, is based in the Natasha and Mae’s Iskander Ceramic Studio at the MPA Berlage Arts & Education Center. Built for serious making and sustained learning, MPA Clay brings together artists working across wheel, hand-building, sculpture, and surface practice in a studio designed for both creative rigor and community.
MPA Clay is part of a broader creative ecosystem. At the Berlage Arts & Education Center, the studio is connected to exhibitions, education, and gathering.
The Natasha & Mae Iskander
Ceramics Studio
The Natasha and Mae’s Iskander Ceramic Studio is designed for active production and instruction, with dedicated areas for making, drying, glazing, and firing. We are grateful to the McLean Community Foundation for its gift of the kiln room, and to the Kohlenberger family for its generous support of the kilns.
