Artist Statement
I’ll call you in the future –– I wanted to create a piece that shifts the perspective of how we normally perceive digital media. TV’s, phones, tablets, create a window we look into — drawing our attention and narrowing our field of view. In this piece the animated surfaces create a portal we look through to further explore. It becomes an object with motion, atmosphere, and depth.
