as small as a world

New Work by Karey Kessler
all nearness pauses (inspired by the poetry of e.e. cummings)
Atrium Gallery
Using pieces of the already fragmented poems of e.e. cummings as a starting
point, this series of atmospheric maps represents Kessler’s attempt at depicting
space, time and the experience of place. The elusiveness of memory and the
internal landscape of emotion are explored through a combination of color,
line, image and words.
