Four Months Based on the format of the desk calendar, these 12 x 12 inch encaustic paintings are produced one each day and so document the passage of time. Each painting refers to the activities of that particular day on a literal and/or intuitive level. Layering is important from both a formal standpoint and metaphorically, alluding to the realities of multitasking and of processing numerous thoughts simultaneously. |
